Mariposa - The "great adventure" was an eye opener but now I have to figure out what to do with this "white elephant"! My initial opinion is that the ranch will never be successful as it presently exists. It needs six to ten wells drilled to get water which seems kind of ironic since my uncle was known by the Aboriginals for his strong stands to protect the existing streams that flow through the area. I feel like I've been given an Erector Set and discovering it came without instructions. Of course, the people who presently are leasing the land want me to provide the funding for the wells without any increase in rent.... I guess I must look like I just fell off the turnip truck...........

Good luck with that one.

-5 this AM coming into work. BRRRRR!!!!! Makes me want to stay home and play with my new toy. I bought an embroidery machine. Learning how the thing works is the easy part. Learning the software that makes the designs will be the hard part, but I'm sure this old dog can learn some new tricks.

Mariposa - A machine for doing embroidery? Whoo'd-a-thunk! I remember my mother & grandmother spending hours working on various projects. They both were into embroidery and crocheting.
