Well THIT! How'd we get to this point so quickly??? Have a great Thursday, a slippery Friday.... and just slide nice 'n easy into the weekend. Sounds like a plan to me!

It rained off-and-on yesterday here in the swamp but it is flat-out gorgeous today. It's hard to believe it's the same place........
LUNCH is calling me............... from way over there......... somewhere not here................. Road trip or starve.... what to do, what to do???? Road trip!!!!! Gotta find that voice..... it's so haunting.... so pretty.... I can't make out the words, just the sound..... I could take the romance out of this by admitting it's probably just my stomach complaining but where's the fun in that??? Road trip!
Lunch was a picnic feast.... I had a chili-dog with all the good stuff.... parked at the Summit overlooking the Pit 36 area of last summer's fire near Estacada. Not much to see now & it's already pretty much back to normal. I just realized that I haven't seen any of the bears in months so I think I was probably right about them just being displaced by the fire.
So my lunch was a TV dinner. Yours sounds so much better.
I haven't had a TV dinner in centuries! The closest I've come is a pot pie....
My chili dog was from a little hole-in-the-wall trailer called Granny's in Estacada. The chili is home-made and soooooooooooo good!
