What a weekend! I'm glad that's behind us! Over 2¾ inches of rain with 60 mile per hour winds... what a mess! I survived without too much damage but I don't know how that happened. Clean living I guess!

Monday, Monday! Good day to clean up the mess. I do have several leaners & broken tops to take care of before they fall and someone gets hurt. Have a good'n!

I just received word that Everett, my very good friend who had been diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer at Christmas, has died. I'm so happy I got to spend Christmas with him and his family. I got in two visits with him since then and knew he was on an extremely steep decline but the news still caught me by surprise. He is a friend I will deeply miss.

Carl so sorry for your loss. I have just found out my niece has stage 4 cancer and is starting chemo this week.
Hoping all goes well for her. Now I will worry about my sister even more.

Cute duck family. Warm and near 70 today, but wait there's more.... Down into the 20s later this week. Yup it's Ohio.

I know very little about cancer but my understanding is that "stage IV" is reached when it spreads to multiple organs and is no longer treatable with localized treatment. In Everett's case, he went from Prostate Cancer (in remission) to new cancers in his kidneys, bladder, lungs, and brain almost simultaneously.

I hope your niece's chemo is successful........
