Because you didn't take your little blue pill????? Living better through pharmaceuticals! Oh! I know.... it's anticipation for Saturday's upcoming Rah-Rah speech!
My problem is I come home fall asleep, snooze for a couple of hours. I wake up and think I've been sleeping much longer than I really have. Getting back to sleep often takes longer than I want.
Mariposa - Sounds all too familiar! I got tired of lying awake all night after a short nap in front of the TV. Ask your doctor about Amitriptyline (Elavil). Standard dosage is one to five tabs an hour or so before you want to turn out the lights. I take one and have no problem going to sleep. What I like about it is that there is no "morning after" grogginess or hangover. And, even though I still wake up several times a night, I have no problem going right back to sleep. Gawd! That sounds like a cheesy commercial!
I dislike them and I don't always follow their advice(to the letter or otherwise) but they can be useful at times because they control the prescription pad. You just have to find one you can trust to listen to you. Nobody as blown off more doctors than I have!!! I confirm their prescription dosages with the knowledge that unless it's an antibiotic it's usually safe to cut it in half. Most doctors prescribe maximum dosages for their own protection and completely disregard the side effects. There's always another pill they can prescribe to take care of those.
The entertainment value of this blog depends upon the contributions of those who visit. If you have something on your mind... toss it out and see who responds. If you have nothing on your mind, a simple "hi" is always nice.

Doctor???????
I've heard if you go to a Doctor you end up sick.

I'll pass on the pills until I absolutely need them.
Nothing like Friday night beer and pizza.
Mariposa - Passing on "help" is what put me flat out on the floor. You just have to be very "smart" about the meds.
