Sometimes, if you get far enough off the beaten path, you find things that make the hair stand up on the back of your neck. That pretty well describes the way I felt when I stumbled upon this relic. It came complete with lots of interesting things including two Rottweilers that were large enough to be used as pack horses. I didn't press my luck and just assumed the "No Trespassing" signs meant what they said. Shades of "Deliverance"!
It's too muddy here to play in the mulch. Gully washer has become a popular word around here. But, it's not raining now so I think I'll tke the '57 (Chevy) to lunch. I haven't had it out in several weeks... time to go!
Lunch was not only good but fun as well! I think just getting there and back home was way more than half the fun. There is something about well kept classic cars that just seeing them makes everyone happy. The Chevy is not original but the Fairlane is 100% as it came from the factory. I inwardly cringe with every mile I put on it. But, I bought it with the intention to drive it! It's going to have to go to my mechanic for some minor work... stuff that comes about when a car isn't driven regularly. Moving parts need to keep moving or they tend to dry out and need to be replaced.

Happy Sunday!
Wise decision.
It's a beautiful day in my part of the swamp, time to finish the mulching job.
