Ewwwwwwwww! Summer in the Midwest! That's hard to remember though in the middle of the rotten winter weather. But, the three months of Spring are GREAT!!! We're still sneaking up on Summer at this end of the swamp. My roses (today's cover shot) have really come on strong this week. They always manage to show up close to the first of June.... just in time for Portland's Rose Festival. Maybe the the city's forefathers actually had a clue about that one thing and got the scheduling right. I think they blew it on almost everything else though. It's such a rotten excuse for a city......... Just my personal and unbiased opinion!
