Happy, happy Hump Day!
Today's cover shot: Wild Iris & something yellow that just shows up every year.
Pretty flowers. My peony is opening up, and smells so good.
I've got buds on my peony bushes.... no flowers yet.
The peonies that are blooming are my tree peonies, the others just have buds and bloom later. It smells so good.
I guess I just don't know what a peony tree is. My plants are bushes about 4 feet tall & about 3feet in diameter. Are they both bulb origin?
Tree peonies have a woody structure that stays above ground during the winter. The others die back to ground level in the fall.
