Today's cover shot: That old gnarled & twisted tree is at fairly high altitude in The Heights so it has been a little slow to leaf out this year. But finally got bombarded with the latest heat wave and it brought it to life. It's usually the first for having its leaves turn color and abandon ship in the fall so it was kind of nice to see it joining us for the summer.
Saturday! So what does than have In store for you? I don't have a thing planned so I'm positive someone will come up with a project for me. It just always seems to work that way.... no rest for the wicked I guess.
My day lily's are blooming. Must be summer.
Mine started blooming about a week ago...
