Today's cover shot: Black Swallowtails showed up on my flowers over the weekend. As I noted earlier, they're always a few days behind the yellows for some unknown reason and this year was no different. Along with the black Swallowtails, my peony bushes broke into very close to full bloom. Now, if I can get the Bee Balm to wake up. Lots of sunshine and temps in the low 80s seem to be doing the job!
I vote for a longer weekend. Two days are not enough.
You are absolutely correct! Even with last Monday being a holiday it still was a tough week.
