Well, we survived until the weekend arrived and we've got a pretty strong promise of rain for Sunday here in the swamp. In my opinion, that's a good thing and I can live through it because things are soooooooooo dry!
Today's cover shot is one of the 36 Pit fire refugees I think. She keeps showing up in places I least expect her to be. So far she hasn't been a threat or caused any damage and has stayed well away from any area where she would get in trouble.
The coo-down is definitely upon the Swamp today.... 62ยบ at noontime and rain on the way this afternoon. Who thought rain would be such a welcome thought..........
Quiet weekend, hubby and kidlets are off to a family reunion. So I get some quiet time.
