Today's cover shot: Although it's not as full as it will be in a couple of months, Reign Creek has maintained a good water flow despite the dry summer and I've neer seen it any lower than it now is. Its source is a lava tube that runs to where I don't know but it must be up in the snow zone because the water runs a chilly 50º or less all summer.

Fridays are when I most miss the tropics. It would be fabulous to just escape for the weekend to a tropical island.... or even just a white sand beach lined with palm trees.... and basking in the warmth of the sun with waters about 82º. Of course reality is that a tropical island is not where you want to be in the summertime........ That's your December/January fantasy!

Out with the hubby tonight for the first gig in a while. Should be interesting.
