Today's cover shot: According to The Sentinals we have turned the corner into Fall. While highly unscientific, these trees are always the first to turn... why I have no idea. They are planted in a perfect row along a road frontage, just like a million other sites. There are a couple of other trees in the same area that usually turn color a few days after the leaders.
Sunday.... that day we actively look for. I'm out for a breakfast date and then back for a full day of wood splitting. We start delivering October 1st so there's not much time to get-r-done! We've been trying to get most of these seniors switched over to Propane but it's not as simple as it should be. Most of them just stonewall at the thought of switching even though there's no cost involved for them. They just prefer the old ways and many claim the wood heat is better for their arthritis or whatever ailment they're stuck with. I can't prove anything one way or the other so I just smile and agree with them. When I get that old I hope somebody just punches my "out"ticket!

Spending the day with my embroidery machine.
Trade ya'! My crew of volunteers go to work on the splitting in about a half hour.
Come on and swing by Ohio, just do it before the snow flies.
