Chilly overnight here in the swamp......25º when I got up at 6:00. I've been a little nervous about cold temps. I built a permanent sun room enclosure around Grandpa Jade and I wasn't sure how well it would be working. It was 45º though inside that enclosure this morning without any added heat source so it seems to be doing exactly what it is supposed to do. I just got tired of temporary greenhouse construction with plastic sheeting to keep him warm.
It was in the 20s here also and warmed up into the 40s.
I had to take Lily to the Vet today. Poor little thing has a bad cold and some sinus infection. A few drugs in her and she'll do fine.
With my herd of cats I always keep a supply of Amoxicillin on hand. It's the first line defense for all their respiratory problems.
