Today's cover shot: A Red Tailed Hawk on the hunt for a meal. This little lady circled overhead for several minutes as she scanned the ground looking for any small critter I might scare out of hiding.

We were in the stone ages last night. The cable went out and so did our phone and internet. It sure was quiet last night.
How BARBARIC!!!!!! No one should have to live that way! Oh, wait, that also happens out here in the boonies every once in a while. There's something about wires hanging among trees that just doesn't work in the wind. My phone, cable, and internet are all the same provider and they've done real well getting it underground but they all depend on electrical power so if that goes..................
Back up and running tonight. Seems like the cable guy was doing an upgrade for the neighbors, and cut our line. Thanks guys.....
