Does that mean I can leave work early today?

Unfortunately it also means that this is the longest night of the year(most hours of darkness) so I think you may have to put in some time in the dark unless you can wiggle out ahead of it.

Today's cover shot: Yet another glorious "O" sunset!

I am so tired of going to work in the dark, and coming home in the dark.

Kinda makes you feel like a mushroom? To make it worse it looks like you might be headed into some nasty driving weather with the first big winter storm headed your way. How many more years before you can retire and spend your time with full-time quilting and sitting around eating bon-bons?

39ยบ and very ominous looking here this morning... "something wicked this way comes"!

I turn 59 in January. 67 1/2 is my SSI target. If they don't move it.
