Today's cover shots: I have six Fan Palms around my house that have never bloomed since they are tropical and don't really like the swamp's colder temps. This year, three of them are blooming. I didn't know they bloomed at all since this is their first time. I'm going to wait and see if the blooms develop into some kind of fruit, nut, or whatever. I have carefully protected them each winter to keep them warm enough to survive the freezing winter temps but who knew they could actually be happy enough here to bloom. It's a strange spring we're having.
