Solarium visitor

Today's cover shot: This Swallowtail butterfly showed up inside my solarium but how it got there is anybody's guess. The room is completely closed to the outside with glass windows providing sunlight to the plants. Unless the doors are open there is no pathway to the outside so how this butterfly beat the system is the question of the day. The only possibility I can come up with is that a caterpillar got in somehow, possibly hitchhiking on a plant, and spun its cocoon.... allowing the butterfly to develop and emerge. The solarium is home to my 85 year old Jade plant and several roommates that need a controlled environment. I captured the butterfly and released it outside where it belongs.

Wednesday... Have a happy Hump Day!
