T.H.I.T. Where is this week going?
Huh!!!! My earlier comment about THIT and today's cover pic seems to have mysteriously disappeared into that vast wasteland called cyberspace. Oh well..... can't cry over spilt comments I guess. My cover pic comment: Wildflowers everywhere... it's that time of year! Profound huh?
THIT seems to be such an under-statement this week.....
♫♫♪...It's raining, it's pouring..... ♫♪ Bwaa-ha-ha-ha-ha!!!! Even though it's turning Portland's park blocks into a soupy muddy swamp, I'm enjoying the sound of rain on the skylights. Take that Rose Festival. Have I mentioned how much I detest Portland???? Yeah, I thought I had. It's a good thing I don't have to live there and I only go there when I choose.... which is nearly NEVER!
It has been really pleasant here in the swamp after our morning rain but now the Weather Guessers are throwing a monkey wrench into the forecast & calling for a heat wave setting in tomorrow with triple digits through the weekend. That seems a little harsh for so early in the year but all our weather this entire spring has been weird. It sounds like it might be a good weekend to just stay inside and park my tushie in the air conditioning. I can get the outside stuff in the mornings before it gets too bad out. That sounds like a plan!
