I've almost given up on calling my planting areas flower beds. This year's offerings are almost done.....
There's a change in the air here in the swamp today. It's something you can't quite put your finger on or tell exactly what it is but there's a smell and a feel that is different. Can it be that fall is upon us? I saw my first Wooly Bear Caterpillar yesterday and I'm not seeing a couple of birds..... As I said... the air just feels different! I'll get back to you on it.....
I couldn't call mine a flowerbed for a while it became a weed bed. It's all cleared out now, and I have some new plants in. I want to move some from the front to the back. The next move will be mulch. One thing at a time.

THIT!
Couldn't have said it better myself.
Spending more time with my flowerbed. Looks like I just might get it done today.

Darn it. I just found out the plants I want to move are best transplanted in the spring. Guess I'll have to wait a while.
As Gilda would say: "It's always something"! I wondered about that when I read your earlier but assumed you had it under control....
Glad I looked before I moved them.
