Veterans Day! Honor them! They made this great country what we are! Join the national movement to light a green light at your home to thank them for all they did.
This was my office during my service! 350 miles per hour at tree-top altitude carrying 8000 pounds of just about anything they could fasten onto the hangers. They were known as Able Dogs, Sandy's, Spads, and they were close to invincible. I've never met anyone who either flew one or was receiving aerial support from them, that didn't adore this plane. After all these years, I still carry warm fuzzies for her. This particular plane was in an Aircraft Museum in San Diego when I last saw her. I salute her on this Veteran's Day!
