Today's cover shot: For all its shortcomings in the weather department, "O" manages to produce some spectacular Autumn colors.
I may not be thrilled with the election results, but sure am happy it's over. Not back to regular scheduled insanity...
Oregon went the exact direction as expected and as a result it is still a "Blue" state and I'm still a red leaning independent. I never get very involved past the local level and I'm never excited or passionate one way or the other. Oregon has never been anything other than "Blue" for the past thirty years and I don't expect it to change... not when the largest employers in the state are government and schools. Farmers and blue collar are a minority here and we're humored because we pay taxes to support their institution. But, there aren't enough of us to have any clout.
