Oregon went the exact direction as expected and as a result it is still a "Blue" state and I'm still a red leaning independent. I never get very involved past the local level and I'm never excited or passionate one way or the other. Oregon has never been anything other than "Blue" for the past thirty years and I don't expect it to change... not when the largest employers in the state are government and schools. Farmers and blue collar are a minority here and we're humored because we pay taxes to support their institution. But, there aren't enough of us to have any clout.
The entertainment value of this blog depends upon the contributions of those who visit. If you have something on your mind... toss it out and see who responds. If you have nothing on your mind, a simple "hi" is always nice.
