Sorry I wasn't here for you this morning! Nope, not gremlins this time. Superman just crashed and burned and the Kryptonite got him.

Seriously, I had a serious fall on Saturday Night and long story short... I landed on my chest badly bruising my ribs and lungs. Thankfully I didn't break anything but as a result I'm moving somewhat sloth like..... very slowly and with a lot of pain. I spent Saturday night and Sunday in the hospital but they busted me out this morning.

I've got to ask your indulgence with this post The way I'm feeling I may take a couple of days to recuperate a little so I hope you understand if I'm a no-show temporarily. I'm having a tough time breathing and my lungs, though not bruised, are very sore and making every breath a job-and-a-half. Quoting Rocky Raccoon: "I'll be better as soon as I am able."

Ouch hope you are feeling better soon. They laugh at me around work when I shovel a path between buildings if no one has gotten to it yet. I just tell them at my age if I fall something is going to break.

My advice is to curl up with some kitties and get some rest.

Thursday and nothing much has changed. Hanging in there. Excruciating pain when I cough due to the ribs so I'm living minute-to minute to avoid coughing.

Happy St Patty's day. I feel to much like crap to even think about green beer let alone any thing else to drink.

Hope you are starting to feel better.

THIF!!! I've almost made it through this week from Hell! Sleeping in a chair is really getting old. I cannot breathe when I'm on my back or either side so the alternative is to just stay out of bed. Doesn't that sound like a lot of fun? If I make it through this I can make it through anything!

You will get there just take baby steps.

My problem with sleeping is I can't sleep in a bed. I wake up way too sore and stiff so my bed of choice is a recliner.

My problem is that I can't seem to breathe when I get on my right side. It's like I cannot intake any air on that side and it gets scary real quick. I've been sleeping in a large plush rocker but it's less than ideal for long term sleep. I'm hoping to start getting better soon.

I feel for you. Are you sure you didn't crack a rib or two.

Wait for it. Spring is almost here.

Yesterday was nothing but rain, rain, and more rain. This morning is lots of fog. Can't wait to see what happens this afternoon.

Are you starting to feel any better?

Happy hump day.

I'm taking so many baby steps I'm almost back to crawling. It seems like all I'm doing is constantly making fine adjustments to enable me to continue what I'm already doing. When we get to the next stop I think I just want to get off this ride............... Had a visit with my Dr. yesterday and she insists I didn't break anything and it's just going to take time for the bruising to heal... and nothing is going to change until that happens..........

Just keeep up with the baby steps

TGIF.... but I'm not sure why what day it is makes any difference. But, on the bright side, it's not Monday and that ought to be worth something.
We'll see how it plays out I guess! Dr. appointment first thing out this morning. Always something!

I hope you are starting to feel better, I know it's a long way to go but one step at a time.

Happy Saturday. I may try to clean up the sewing room today so I can get in some fabric therapy.

I think spring has set in. I may even open my dock door for a bit this afternoon.

Are you still alive? I don't know what you did but PLEASE don't do it again.

Happy happy hump day!!!!!

What I "did" is get into a wrestling match with the devil and he damn near killed me. I've just had simple falls over the past few weeks and they added up to a major and massive amount of bruising and soft tissue damage with nobody sure what to do for any of it except let it heal. It's slowly getting better and I have actually managed to sleep in my own bed for the first time In several weeks. I have been forced to sit in an overstuffed rocker for sleeping. One thing is certain though and that is that I cannot continue The Shed on a daily schedule with fresh pics every day. No matter what else changes, that is certain. That level takes hours and I simply can't do it anymore. I don't know if a weekly schedule will even work but it might be a good place to start. I don't want to just close the doors and go away.............. Any input at this point??????

Glad you are back in your own bed and starting to feel better.

Weekly is fine, or what ever you feel up to. If there is anything I can do to help let me know.

T.H.I.T. I'm starting to feel the weekend closing in.

T.G.I.F. one more day, one more day...

Friday finally arrived? But, is it real or is it Memorex................

I'm hoping it's real. I have a trip to Cleveland planned for tomorrow. I'm going to check out a sewing and quilting expo. Too bad I don't have time to take a few classes while I'm there. Maybe next trip.
