Well, you obviously took the red pill 'cause I see you're here. I don't know where that came from but I like it.... It's just another way to say "hi"...
They hit the San Francisco music scene in 1965 & were slightly better than a one-hit-wonder group. Beverly Bivens and Michael Stewart were the keys to the group... she's so cuuute & a voice with a lot of depth. But she left a year or so later and another group bites the dust.... You Were On My Mind ~ We Five ~ 1965. They got a Grammy Nomination but lost to The Anita Kerr Singers... who????
Definitely a looonnnng way from being one-hit-wonderville... Kodachrome ~ Paul Simon ~ 1973. Maybe someone should come out with a song about digital... or mega pixels?????
It was the last cut on Super Trouper side two... It was during that period where they were writing their music(and pain) on their sleeves for the world to see... & I liked it... The Way Old Friends Do ~ Abba ~ 1980.
This clip came out of his fourth album, Ten Summoner's Tales & was a top twenty hit. The song I liked but I never understood where he was attempting to go with this clip.... If Ever I Lose My Faith In You ~ Sting ~ 1993.
Carl, the dove was for you...they do have a tendancy to "let loose" so the other warning was for you too. If I am crowding your space just kick me out and I will sleep on the flea infested bear rug upstairs. I am so tired I can sleep damned well anywhere.
The time stamp on my first post of the day is whacked but the computer still puts it there. That 2:04 PM was actually Saturday afternoon when the list was created. I've worked out a way to hold the pre-recorded clip post until the automatic overnight update. It allows me to be more creative with the clip list when I'm not under a deadline. I'll eventually figure out a way to get it to time-stamp it with actual blog time.

Jeannie - good to see you. I wuz beginning to believe you'd fallen in the shower & forgot where home was.
Don't need any doves unless it's a Dove ice cream bar.
