Today's cover shot: They're often called "camp robbers" and probably dozens of other unflattering names but this is the Western Blue Jay. This guy can do a perfect imitation of the calls of several birds but his best is the cry of the Red Tail Hawk. I've never figured out why he does the imitations but they always are note-on perfect. With a lot of patience you can entice these guys to land on your outstretched arm & eat bits of bread or other treats from your hand.

Well THIT! Here we go again. Have a great Thursday. Watch out for the "loonies" that always come along with the Blue Moon. Two full moons in a month drives some right over the edge.

I need to get through one more day. Must have been the full moon because things have been really squirrely at work this week. I wonder if I can really sleep in on Saturday.

Mariposa - If you have to resort to homicide, use the defense that the moon drove you to it. Lunacy is a long-standing way to beat the rap.

Now there's a thought.

My biggest problem this week was fixed with a new pair of shoes. Most times when they wear out just my feet hurt. This time every thing hurt. Today the feet were just complaining about breaking in the new shoes.

Hmmmmm.... I wonder if a new pair of shoes would solve all my aches, pains, & other assorted ailments. It'd probably have to be a very large pair of shoes because I whine a lot..........

I imagine your shoes are critical though since you are warehousing on a concrete floor and spending all day on your feet. Ouch!!!!
