TGIF!! And, that's all I'm gonna say 'bout that!
Have a great one and when you're through with it, kick its sorry butt out of the way so we can get to the important stuff of the weekend.
Ohhhh! I forgot to mention that I LOVE Mantids. It's kinda cool how they can look sideways and backward over their shoulder to keep track of what's going on. Every year I purchase egg pods and hatch them. Then it's instant insect control in a hungry package that can change color according to their surroundings. I also buy thousands of lady bugs for the same reason.
Well here I sit at work, a beautiful sunny day, and I'm stuck inside. :(((
Mariposa - Boooooo! But, sitting at work should be easy on the feet.
I'm here in the swamp & the sun has been mostly a no-show all day. It poured buckets overnight.... great timing!
But, I'm wondering if that rain might be a harbinger of weather to come. I'm not ready for Fall yet!
I snuck out a whole 15 minutes early. Spent the extra time sitting in traffic. At least I was not working.
Mariposa - At least you could see the nice weather while you sat there breathing exhaust fumes. Now, run for the hills! It's the weekend!
Sun had been in and out all day and it's sort of muggy (not that I'm out in it) :)
We had a slight shower overnight or early, early this morning.
A good soaking would help the forest fires but I'm not ready for Fall yet either! Once that rain starts, it's on a grand roll till next June/July.
Carol - It didn't rain much in town? I got a little over a half inch in my rain gauge. It came down pretty good for several hours.
Dinner - Here I come!
Mr.Ed - No, not much rain, just enough to wet the sidewalks and street a bit. The 'guru's' said it would be mostly to the east of us.
Carol - I guess that explains it. I am kinda - sorta east in a general way. Plus, I'm right at the base of a very large cloud gathering mountain.
