Mariposa - Dromedaries need love too... but I understand they are kind of cranky! Ummmmmmm... that sounds kinda like me although I think I'm just slightly better looking, in my opinion anyway, and I'm sure I don't have "camel" breath!
Is Freddy still back at work? (That's just a figure of speech of course)
Mariposa - Ohhhh! Now I understand. But, unless you were a rodent... mouse or rat preferred... he'd just ignore you. With all the Owls, Hawks, and Eagles that I have protecting my trees, it's amazing I have any rodents at all but they seem to maintain about the same population year after year. But, thanks to the predators I have very little damage from them. Of course, the bobcats and coyotes help a lot. I love it when Mother Nature does her job!
You're a lot better at dealing with Freddy than I would ever be. I'd tear the lazy jerk's head off and spit down the cavity! Yeah! That would do for starters...........
We have been hauling and spreading bark mulch (the black stuff) today. My back hurts...took Ibuprofin...that will help. The yard looks great again. The roofers cleaned up so well that they took all the remaining bark mulch with them so that is why we needed to get some, also it's been a few years and the borders really needed it. Roof looks great! Next is the re-fresh on the porch. That won't happen until the temps outside are in the 70's. It has to be that warm for the sealer to be put on.
Hope you both get 'un-cranky' soon. Maybe an adult beverage would be in order. :)

Today's cover shot: A Red Tailed Hawk... part of my rodent patrol force.

Freddy is out on the truck today. Good thing I can only put up with his crap for a day or two at a time.
Maybe I'm the one who is cranky.....

I keep trying to give Freddy enough rope. So far all he has done is trip over it.
