This is my "week of the quacks". I've been called to the Principal's Office today to visit with my Primary Care Quack... No reason, she just misses me and needs more money I guess. It seems that if I don't go see them at least once every 90 days, they start thinking I might have died and they panic. It's like I have six of them (count 'em) attached to my butt with bungee cords. I can't get away with anything. Oh well... it is what it is! At least now I'm only taking about a quarter as many meds. I'm down to only two or three pills six times a day instead of the small handful I was having to do. Of course I still have to monitor my BP every three hours and maintain a log but I'm not wearing a monitor and haven't needed surgery... so it's not too bad I guess. But, I miss the freedom of being afloat on a boat in the moat.... My friends tell me I just like to "bitch"! 'Ya SUPPOSE?
It's a BEAUTIFUL day here in the swamp.... blue skies, gentle breezes, fuzzy bunnies hopping around in my back yard....
Carol - I paid Springwater Trail a visit today... at least milepost 7 anyway. I had to run up to Henderson's Turf & Wear again for mower parts that finally came in after a two week delay. They just don't seem to get it that grass moves faster than that.......... I had already gotten the parts elsewhere but I had paid for these... so I now have spares.
Mariposa - So, what's the weather outlook for your area? Is it going to be a "stay inside and quilt" or a "get out and dig in the dirt" weekend?? It looks like the swamp is going to get an "outside activity" weekend. YAY!!!!
By the way... I wasn't kidding about the bunnies. I've got four of them that have decided they live here. They seem to be getting along okay with the cats and they don't have to share food. And, for some reason the cats have decided the bunnies aren't food. I haven't figured that one out yet because they'll immediately chase any squirrel. Go figure!
The entertainment value of this blog depends upon the contributions of those who visit. If you have something on your mind... toss it out and see who responds. If you have nothing on your mind, a simple "hi" is always nice.

Jumping to noon on Saturday will work for me.

Here I am stuck at work and my latest shipment of quilting goodies has arrived on my doorstep.

Looks like it's going to be a get outside, get down and dirty sort of weekend. I need to do some reading before I start my new quilt project.
