Tuesday, Tuesday, Tuesday!!! One more day on the march of time. True story: The Rolling Stones song "Ruby Tuesday" was written about a young groupie named Ruby Keith who, as groupies do, hung around the band. She was a regular fixture and became the steady "booty call" for Keith Richards. After about a year, she suddenly disappeared on a Tuesday... leaving behind only an article of her underwear. Keith and Mick Jagger wrote the song noting her departure. "And now you know", as Paul Harvey would say, "the rest of the story!"

RAIN, RAIN, WIND, WIND. sigh

I know it's Dec and I know that officially winter isn't even here yet but each year it seems harder to deal with our weather. I shouldn't complain as so many areas are much worse, but I got so spoiled this summer. Maybe it's time to think of selling and moving south.

Carol - I know I've said it before but I couldn't take it if I lived where you live. That wind out of the Gorge is just an absolute deal breaker for me. I can handle the small amount of extra snow I get out here because the roads are always pretty good and there's very little traffic.

I've been thinking about just moving to an island in the Carribe but I tend to get bored pretty quick. I would have to have a boat and that would put me back at odds with the quacks. I just can't win! Maybe I should consider Hawaii... there are excellent medical facilities there & I wouldn't need the boat.

Speaking of the boat.... She may be sold. My broker received an offer with a sizable deposit but I haven't agreed to it. It's still low of what I expect to sell her for. And, they want her transported to Ft. Lauderdale, which is no big deal. We'll see!

Mr.Ed, at least we don't live in Gresham or Troutdale..that's where the wind really slams you into another county.
It's bad enough in the NE neighborhood we live in. I really would not want to move at this stage of my life. What would be nice would be to become a snow bird.
Trouble with that is there would be no one to look after our house here.
Oh well, Spring will come soon enough. It's actually warm today!

Carol - I think Oregon's pretty good most of the time but I tend to grumble a lot!
