Sure not going in the winter!

I wish this nasty east wind would stop. It is a lot warmer today, but with that blowing, it is still too much.

Mr. Ed, I heard there was a 99 mph wind gust at the Vista House yesterday, also one at 91 early this morning. Geez!!! Good thing that sucker is made out of rock or it would be somewhere in the Coast range by now.

Carol - Winter on the coast is always so cold! Beautiful but COLD! But on the plus side, there's almost no traffic.

Do you suppose they might have put Vista House where it is to serve as a weight to keep the mountains from blowing away. I'm protected by a couple of ridge lines so I normally don't get that east wind... thank goodness! But, when it's from the northwest, west or south... that's a different story!
