Today's cover shot: It's just so cuuuuuttttte! And, surprise, it's an operating vehicle.... not just a decoration although it does serve that description well.
Well, I see what you mean about the little rocks, but I was just referring to the truck itself. It has a quality to it that reminds me of what my cousin paints. She takes old family pictures (usually from the 20's and 30's) and reproduces them on canvas. She colorizes them and she's very talented. Some of her works are in art galleries at the coast.
I know what you mean about the paintings. I've seen some old postcards... paintings... but so realistic. What really attracted me to this truck (other than the age) was the weathering (without rust) of the paint. It does almost look like it was painted that way.

That picture of the old truck looks more like a painting than the 'real' thing. hmmmmm
Very windy all night...sigh
Mariposa, sorry you had to go back to the salt mine but hope you enjoyed your time off.
Arghhhhhhhh!!! It's Monday! Can I just go back to bed?
Carol - It's real but I agree. Wouldn't it would be great to be an artist with the talent to paint in that detail... all those little rocks!
