Okay, my face is really, really, really, REALLY RED!!! I went out and looked at my Peonies and they are all BUSHES! That's what I get for running by my memory... especially at my advanced stage of CRS!!!! I have always left the plants to just die off over winter and from my memory, they came back as sprouts off those old stalks,,, WRONG! They come up from the roots... which are bulbs.

That's OK. I know they smell great when they bloom. My two in the back yard are blooming their heads off and look sooooo pretty.
