That river is in the northeast corner of "O" & is loaded with very large trout. I have a policy that requires me to eat whatever I catch so I no longer bother to fish. I used to be an avid fisherman but when I started feeling sorry for them, I was done. I had a 16' Tri Hull with a Chevy I/O at the time and I sold it and my poles are still stored in the rafters of my garage. I did basically the same thing with hunting. I started looking at the world through the eyes of the critters and so my rifles have been stored and unused for a lot of years. It's impossible to describe the feeling I get when I am able to walk into the midst of my deer herd and for them to just accept and trust me. With anyone else, they're gone faster than you can blink. I had a (last year's) fawn challenge me for some reason a couple of days ago. She walked right up to within five feet and then she stopped and stamped her front foot at me. She repeated the warning every time I started to move in any forward direction so I figured she was serious. That's a deer warning for you to back off but I never figured out why she was confronting me. The warning was very cute but was about the equivalent of a 12 year old standing with arms crossed confronting an adult and demanding they stop. It was very cute because she was so small but there was never any real danger. But, she was clearly saying she was ready to fight if necessary if I pushed her. I suspected that her mother was very close by and was in the process of having this year's baby(or babies). I ruled out rabies that's not an active disease in "O" and I didn't see any foam on her mouth.

Looks like a nice place to kick back and watch the water.
