Ahhhhhhhhhh! Saturday! We made it! Unfortunately, there's no rest for the wicked so if we get tolerable temps I'll be out mowing a couple of fields of hay. Ordinarily I wouldn't bother with it but if I let it go it might be a fire hazard later on. So, it's gotta go... either today or as soon as we get a break in the warm spell. It's always somethin' but I don't need to take chances with a fire getting started.
Cloudy with off and on rain. Its been a good day to nap.
Didn't quite get out of the 80s here in the swamp. Cloud cover moved in and pretty well shut down the hot spell. We haven't had a high over 100 since 2012 but I'm not complainin'.
I saw signs in the heights today that makes me think that at least one of my bears is back. Didn't see the bear but that's a good thing. Lots of natural food this time of year so it's to be expected I guess.
