TGIF!!!! But, going one step farther.... I'm grateful that it is actually a federal holiday for the Fourth. It doesn't get too much better than that but I end up working despite the holiday! Such is the life of the lowly farmer.
Today's cover shot is the outcome of the large forest and brush fire burning in Eastern Washington. You'd think the prevailing winds would take it the other way but it doesn't take care of all of it. But, sunsets filtered through the smoke makes for some spectacular pics... for which I am eternally grateful.
98ยบ in the shade..... and the shade melted. Time for a cool down. Break out the Bud!
