I feel like I'm being watched.
Today's cover shot: The latest model drone in the NSA fleet? Nah! It's just one of my resident Red Tail Hawks.
TGIF!!!!!!!! We've got a cool down in progress but so far it hasn't helped the fire situation. We've already had one small fire in timber just a few miles from me and it's supposed to be really explosive through Saturday. The one near me yesterday was caused when a pickup backfired and started an engine compartment fire. Of course the bubba didn't have a "working" fire extinguisher. It went to 26 acres before they got it out. I hold my breath every summer! I've got two crews I've hired on standby if needed because this year has been so dry for so long. We can only hope people use their brains a little.
I think there are some strawberry daiquiris waiting for me.
