I've got a lens I use for moon shots. You've really got to draw it up close to get the detail without fuzzing. It just doesn't work to take a normal shot and crop it.
Another frosty night here in the swamp. My weather station showed it reached 34º... not really freezing yet but cold enough for frost to form on my roof and lawn. I haven't been up in the heights but I'm betting it was probably into the mid 20s up there. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
The other trick for moonshots is to use a tripod with a timed exposure. That only works for very short duration timed shots due to the relative movement of the subject in the frame.
The entertainment value of this blog depends upon the contributions of those who visit. If you have something on your mind... toss it out and see who responds. If you have nothing on your mind, a simple "hi" is always nice.

I tried to get a picture of the moon, but my camera just wasn't up to the task.
