Pretty pretty bird.
Male Ruby Throated Hummer. People used to believe these little guys migrated north and south hitchhiking rides on the backs of migrating Canada Geese but that's just plain silly. Everybody knows that's how the butterflies migrate!!! At least I didn't identify it as a Peony!
THIT!!! Can it be? Already? Mind you, I'm not complainin' but Thursday seems a little rushed this week............... Maybe it's because it's leading to a loooooooooooooong weekend???? I'm going to throw a little barbecue Saturday.... put part of a pig on the smoker & see how we do with pulled pork & lots of drink! Everyone's so busy with plans for the Fourth, I thought a little pre-holiday party was just the ticket!
Hubby and I went out for a nice steak dinner. I can't believe he's put up with me for 27 years, I think he's a keeper.
