Happy hump day.
The bottom is about to drop out of the thermometer. I'm not ready for this.
Yeah, the same thing's happening here... into the teens by morning & a major incoming winter storm on its way later today and tomorrow. The capper will be freezing rain by Friday. This Arctic air mass I was watching earlier turned out to be much bigger and stronger than I thought. Amateurs!
Happy Hump Day backatcha!!!! Okay, how cold has it gotten so far in your end of the swamp? You'll probably need to get used to that because it won't change much for several days. On this end, we get to look forward to it only getting worse when it starts to warm up and the rains turn the area into a giant skating rink. The last time I faced that I ended up face-down on the ice after a spectacular face-plant... done as only I can do them! I have ended up on my butt so many times it's amazing I've never broken anything. It must be the extra padding I've added over the past couple of years but if a couple of pounds of fat prevents a broken bone.... hand me another donut!
We are heading into the teens tonight, and expecting single digits by the weekend.
